Fishing Industry to benefit from Trawl Wire Service
EK Marine has recently introduced a New Trawl Wire Tensioning Service for fishing vessels. This is a mobile service and is available nationwide.
This mobile unit removes the old wire from the boat, replaces it with the new trawl wire which is tensioned onto the vessel up to 25T. The major benefit is tensioning is done Ashore. It ensures good spooling on the trawl winches and net sounder winches. It eliminates the need to go to sea to tension the wire therefore saving fuel, time and money. Changing the wire this way is fast, done ashore and the old wire is removed by EK Marine for disposal.
